A native and lifelong resident of Pathfork, she is a child of Christ Jesus, was a homemaker and a member of the Pathfork Holiness Church. She leaves behind many spiritual brothers and sisters, who will mourn her loss yet rejoice in their reunion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Trent Taylor and Victoria Jones Taylor; and three brothers, Many Taylor, Eugene Taylor and Buster Taylor. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Fred L. Baker, Pathfork; five children, Brenda Baker, Pathfork, Victoria Robbins and husband Mark, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary King and husband Charlie, Knoxville, Tenn., Denise Baker, Middlesboro, and Tyler Baker, Pathfork; three brothers, Sammy Taylor, Pine Knott, Ky.; Jesse Taylor and Cecil Taylor, Walton, Ky.; five sisters, Margie Howard and Rachel Taylor, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Betty Tibbetts, Indianapolis, Ind., Brenda Epstes, New Tazewell, Tenn., and Doris Snellings, Hulen; one grandchild, Caleb Baker, Pathfork; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday Nov. 21, at 12 noon at Pathfork Holiness Church with the Rev. Everett Eads and the Rev. Robert Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery Pathfork. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is Monday after 5 p.m. at the Pathfork Holiness Church. Harlan Funeral Home, Harlan, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
