He was born in Pineville on February 5, 1950 son of the late Ed and Maude Alford Baker. He was a Baptist and had worked in Strip Mining. Survivors include his children, Misty Baker of Pineville and Johnathon Carmack of Columbus, OH; brothers and sisters, Karen Baker, Joann Baker, Dewayne Baker and James Baker all of Pineville and Eddie (Nora) Baker of Memphis, TN and special friend Mary Prater, and his children's mother, Sudie Cremeans. Services were at 11:00A.M. on Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Goodin. Music was provided by Billy Ray Hoskins and the Hunley family. Burial followed in the Tad Goodin Cemetery, Greasy Creek. Pallbearers were Joe David Vaughn, Perry Goodin, Phillip Goodin, Johnny Jones, Delphus Goodin and James Laws. Honorary Pallbearers were Norman Carmack, H.A. Carmack, Harvey Goodin, Jewell Jones, Danny Dean and Danny Wilson, and Bruce North. Arnett & Steele Funeal Home was honored to serve the Baker Family.
