To: KYF Subject: Banister.Minnie.Rutherford.Scott.1911.Bourbon.OBIT Minnie Rutherford Scott Banister October 8 1911 Bourbon County KyArchives Obituaries Paris Newspaper Mrs. Minnie Rutherford Scott Banister died of cosumption at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, October 3, 1911, at her home near Little Rock, Bourbon county, after about a year's illness. She was the fourth daughter of William H. and Mary Katherine (Hanley) Scott and was born December 6, 1879. She was married July 5, 1902, to John Henry Banister, who died June 8, 1905. Mrs. Banister leaves one daughter, Katherine Kelly, 6 years old. She is also survived by her father, three brothers and two sisters; Joseph, John, Hord, and Misses Mattye Kate and Josephine Scott. Mrs. Banister was a member of the Christian church, and the funeral srvices were held at the home Tuesday at 10 o'clock, Eld. E. H. Koch officiating. The Interment was in Crown Hill cemetery, Sharpsburg, KY., that afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Her cheerful, helpful life; her devotion as wife and mother; her kindness to all, will long linger as fragrant memories among those who knew and loved her.
