BASHAM I, Francis M. Basham, a farmer, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made. To my daughters Kittie M. Basham and Eddie L. Kroush, I will and bequeath each of them One Dollar. All the remainder of my property which I now have or may hereafter acquire, or may die possessed of, my notes, accounts, cash, personal property of all kinds, real estate or any other property not mentioned above, I will and bequeath to my daughter, Annie M. Keys. I desire that my daughter, Annie M. Keys shall provide for my wife Martha Jane Basham and shall keep and retain her in her (Annie M. Keys') own house-hold as one of her own family, and when she shall fail to perform the duties above mentioned, then I desire that this will shall lawfully be canceled and my property revert to the demands of my wife, Martha Jane Basham. I desire that my daughter, Annie M. Keys, shall pay all my debts and the funeral expenses of myself and wife, Martha Jane Basham, and I hereby appoint my duaghter, Annie M. Keys to be the Executrix of my estate and I request that she be not compelled to either give any bond, nor furnish any inventory of my property. Basham, was this day produced to court and after being duly proven by the oath of Grayson E. Payne, one of the attesting witnesses, who also proved the attestation of the other attesting witness, whereupon the same was declared as and for the last will and testament of the said Francis M. Basham was born 9 March 1846 to Francis ("Frank") Basham and Thursia Hardin. He married Martha Jane Stiff (daughter of Nathaniel Stiff and Elizabeth Ann Robertson) on 20 September 1870 in Meade County, Kentucky. Francis M. Basham died 23 March 1921 in Webster, Breckinridge County, Kentucky, and is buried in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lodiburg, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
