Louis was born February 25, 1932 to the late Albert & Viola Cundiff Garrett Beard. He was preceded in death by a son Anthony Beard. He is survived his wife Evelyn Beard; eight children Franklin Beard, Donna Mattingly, Valerie McKenney, Terry Beard, Wesley Beard, Karen Jones, Patricia Lawson, & Keith Beard. He is also survived by a sister Dorthy Miller; three brothers Henry Beard, Clifford Garrett, & Wayne Garrett; twenty three grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 27, 2013 at 2 PM EST at Guston Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cundiff-Anderson Family Cemetery in Guston. Visitation will be held Saturday January 26, 2013 from 4 to 9 PM EST & after 9 AM EST on Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home. Expression of sympathy in the form of donation may go to the Guston Baptist Church in Guston, KY.
