DARRELL WAYNE "TOPMAN" OWEN
	Darrell Wayne "Topman" Owen, died Tuesday, April 8 at 10:37pm at his 
residence in Sturgis.
	He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Vineyard) Owen in 1996.
	Mr. Owen was a member of UMWA Local #1867 and a member of the Black 
Diamond C. B. Club.
	Survivors include three daughters, Mandy Finnie of Madisonville; 
Melinda Owen of Sturgis, and Marla Belt of Caseyville; two sons, Terry 
Owen of St. Mary's, KY., and Darrell Owen of Morganfield; one sister, 
Glenda Burchett of Eddyville; 14 grandchildren, and 8 great 
grandchildren.
	Services were at 2:00 Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim 
Lane officiating. Burial was in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.
	Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
