O. D. BERTRAM DEAD. (very light copy). Mrs. Rebecca Ann Bertram died at the home of her husband, Mr. O. D. Bertram in the Millersburg country last Tuesday night at 10 o'clock from the fatal results of goiter. She was seventy- six years old. "She was a consecrated member of the Baptist church and was active in church work and affairs up until a few years before her death. The people of the community in which she lived were devoted to her and she was a most excellent type of Christian womanhood and a noble character. Before her marriage, she was a Miss Fisher, and was married to Mr. Bertram fifty years ago. "She is survived by her husband and nine children; Mrs. Moses Spradling; Mrs. Wilbur Gentry; Mrs. Sol Jordan; Mrs. Dr. W. T. Britt; Messrs. J. D., Geo. E., and Curd Bertram, all of this c ountry; Mrs. W. D. Bertram, of Owensboro, and Mrs. Wm. Chisolm, of Satler, Calif. She is also survived by one brother and one sister, Mr. Jim Fisher, of Lucas, and Mrs. Bert Borders, of Roseville. "Hers was a wide circle of friends and acquaintance, and she was a remarkable woman, whose almost four score years were a blessing to her children and to all with whom she was associated. "The removal of the aged and loved mother from her loved ones is the first death in the large family. "The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. N. Davis after which the remains were interred in the cemetery at Mt. Pleasant."
