Joseph died in St. Anthony's Hospital, Louisville, Ky., his birthplace. He was 17 years old. Both of his brothers died at the same age, Michael in 1950 and Patrick in 1953. The boy was stricken with Polio when only 8 months old, and a year later Doctors found that he had Muscular Dystrophy, a disease that causes progressive wasting of the body muscle. Surviving Joseph in addition to his parents are: one sister: Miss Marie, age 9 one brother: John, age 19 maternal grandmother: Mrs. J. B. EUBANK, the former Miss Maud POLK, of Cloverport, Ky. Joseph's mother will be remembered in Cloverport as the former Miss Alice Cleo EUBANK, granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. T. POLK. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Louisville, Ky., and burial at Elizabethtown, Ky., Hardin County.
