Breckinridge County Herald-News, Hardinsburg, Ky; January 18, 1963 Mrs. G. O. Blanford

Mrs. George Overton Blanford, 77, of Louisville, died Monday at St. Anthony Hospital.  The former Roberta Foote, born in Owensboro and lived for many years in the Bewleyville vicinity.  A member of the Bewleyville Methodist Church.  
The funeral was held Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, with burial in Blanford Cemetery.  

Survivors include:
two daughters:
Miss Betty Blanford of Louisville
Mrs. Olivia Hoaver of Louisville
two sons:
George Blanford of Harned
Edwin Blanford of Louisville
5 grandchildren

 I checked both cemetery books for Breckinridge County, Ky., and Roberta does not have a tombstone, but her husband does have a tombstone in the cemetery where Roberta is buried.  He is listed in volume 1 of Breckinridge County Cemeteries under: BLANFORD, C. Overton (should be G. Overton Blanford), born
6/16/1875 died 6/17/1950.  The Blanford Cemetery is also known as Hardaway Cemetery # 2.
