Mrs Mattie Jane (Conley) Blanton, 79, passed away in a Prestonsburg nursing 
home.  She was born in Falcon on July 7, 1898 to the late John W. and Rhoda 
(Caudill) Conley.  She was married to McDonald "Mack" Blanton who passed away 
last month. 
Mrs Blanton was a longtime member of the Salyersville Methodist Church and had 
been employed by both the local Pharmacy and the Magoffin County School system 
in past years. 
Surviving her are nieces and nephews. 
Beside her husband she was preceded in death by 8 brothers Claude Conley, Boyd 
Conley, Proctor Conley, Sonny B. Conley, Scott Conley, Chester Conley, Ollie 
Marshall Conley and Jesse F. Conley. 
Visitation and services took place at the Caudill Funeral Home in Salyersville 
with burial following at the Caudill Cemetery at Falcon.
