Mrs. Ethel Blevins

Mrs. Ethel Lucy Kibbey Blevins, 75, Grayson, died Thursday night in King's 
Daughters Hospital following and extended illness.  (January 15, 1981 6:30pm)

Mrs. Blevins was born July 9, 1905, a daughter of the late James and Ellen 
Grubb Kibbey.  She was a member of the Myrtle Tree Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Elga W. Blevins Sr.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lois 
Pemberton of Ashland; three sons, Orville, E.W. Jr. and Vernal R. Blevins, all 
of Grayson; two brothers, Walter Kibbey of Portsmouth and Sam Kibbey of 
Hamilton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Malone Funeral Home in 
Grayson by Elders Woodrow Brumfield and James Craft.  Burial will be in Blevins 
family cemetry on Everman's Creek.

The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 7pm today.
