Bloomfield, 59. of Bucyrus, Ohio and formerly of Gar­rison, died Saturday, January 25, 1992 , at his home after a brief ill­ness. He was a former employee of Bucyrus Castings and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Bloomfield was bom August 21, 1932 in Garrison, the son of the late Jessie and Emma Van Vibber Bloomfield. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Betty Tackett Bloomfield; seven sons, Roy Richard Bloom­field, Charles Timothy Bloomfield, Ronald Bloomfield, Robert Bloom­field, Michael Bloomfield. Jimmy BloomfieLd, all of Bucyrus and Elvis Ray Bloomfield, of Garrison; four daughters, Brenda Evans, Car­olyn Howard, Sandy Bloomfield, all of Bucyrus and Joyce Howell of Revena; 15 grandchildren; four brothers; Harold David Bloomfield and Kenny Ray Bloomfield, both of Bucyrus, Eugene Bloomfield of Jef­fersonville, Ohio and Roger Lee Bloomfield of South Shore; and two sisters, Faye Pruitt of Jeffersonville and Betty Lou Wells of Groveport, Ohio. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and slslers. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 1992 at Bivens Chapel Christian Holi­ness Church with Rev. Clarence Hall officiating and burial in the Skidmore Cemetery. Gravesidc military rites will be conducted by the Disabled American Veterans Post 150, Lewis County and the James Flannery Post 276 American Legion, South Shore.
