Bocock-from-Lakin.1857.Lawrence.DEED Lawrence County, Kentucky 25th day of March 1857 This Indenture was made and entered into this 25th day of March 1857 between Joseph Lakin of the one part and Elijah Bocock of the other part and of the County of Lawrence and State of Kentucky. Witnessth that for and in consideration of two hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereas is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, and sold __________ these presence to grant, bargain and sell unto the said Bocock a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Lawrence and State aforesaid and situated on Bear Creek and is bounded as follows to wit: Beginning on the west side of Bear Creek within a survey of one resident and fourth acres which was patented to ________ ____ ________ _________ of ___ September 1822, on 2 white oaks west ________ _________ ________ across Bear Creek _____ to a stake, the mouth of a _______ and thence running with said ________ ________ the ________line of a fifty acre survey, ________ a ________ ________ in the 20th day of May in the year 1833. Thence running on the ________ line to a sugar and _________, thence to the beginning containing fifty acres more or less to have and hold the land hereby conveyed with all and __________the appurtenances unto the said Bocock, his heirs, assigns forever ________ ________ said Lakins ______ ________, his heirs and assigns doth forever warrant and deliver himself, his heirs, assigns or any persons claiming through or by him out against no other claim whatever. ________ ________ ________ said Joseph Lakins hath hereunto set his hand and seal this day and date ___________ written.
