Mrs. George Booker September 1927 Edmonson County KyArchives Obituaries The Edmonson News - September 30, 1927 Mrs. George Booker is Called Beyond Mrs. George Booker, one of the oldest and best beloved matrons of Brownsville died at her home here Saturday night after suffering illness from Bright's disease. Besides her aged husband she is survived by six children, four stalwart sons, Doll, Dard, Grover and Albert Booker, and two daughters, Mrs. Stella Wheat and Mrs. Josie Slaughter, numerous other relatives and a host of friends and admirers. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the grave in the Houchins cemetery by the Reverends Charlie Ray and George Harrison. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
