Bowling - Charles Bowling of Springville, IN, died on Tuesday, August 12,
1997, at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home. Born in Manchester, KY, on January 14,
1907, he was the son of William and Lucy (Reynolds) Bowling. He married
Audrey F. Roberts on September 28, 1945.

Survivors include the wife, Audrey, of Springville, IN; one daughter, Janet
McMillan of Springville; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two
sisters, Audrey Evans and Florence Barger, both of Florida. He was preceded
in death by one son, Garold C. Bowling.

He was a member of Popcorn Christian Church and was a veteran of WW II,
serving with the U.S. Army. He was retired from Indiana Limestone Company.

The service for Charles Bowling will be at The Day & Carter Mortuary at 11
a.m. on Friday, August 15th, with the Rev. Jerry Wisely officiating. Burial
will be in Lowder Cemeterty. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday,
August 14th, at The Day & Carter Mortuary.
