Boyd.Lynn.1918.Crittenden.OBIT Lynn Boyd 24 Apr 1918 Crittenden Record - Press 2 May 1918 Lynn Boyd Moore died April 24, 1918 at Cotton Plant, Arkansas. He was 64 years old last Feb. 6th. He was a member of the Masons and also of the Methodist Church. His wife was Miss Ida Summers of Greenville, Ky. and she survives him, also two sons, the oldest, Robert Foster has a wife and baby. The younger one, named Ewell Summers, is about 20 years old and is still in school. Dr. Moore was born at Mattoon and was the son of the late R.L. Moore and is survived by one sister, Belle, wife of Gus. D. Summerville, and one brothers, R.L. Moore Jr, Judge of the Crittenden County Court. He has lived in the rich cotton belt of Arkansas and has visited here only occasionally, but is remembered and known to many of our older people. For many years he was a leading member of the M.E. Church and at the time of his death was Sec. and Treas. of the Sunday School. The burial was conducted with Masonic honor Friday at Cotton Plant, Arkansas, where he had lived many years.
