DEED: Breeden, 1824, Shelby Co SHELBY COUNTY, KENTUCKY DEEDS, Book U, page 151 BREEDEN, WILLIAM to JOHN ALLEN -- DEED This Indenture made this fourth day of November 1824 between John Allen of the County of Shelby and State of Kentucky of the one part and William Breden of the county of Sangamon and State of Illinois of the other part witnesseth that the said William Breden for the consideration of seventy five dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and doth by their presents grant bargain and sell unto the aforesaid John Allen all his right title claim and interest in a tract of land which fell to him by the death of Bland B Breeden which tract of land was purchased of Alexander Breckinridge by Richard Breeden Senior lying and being in the County of Shelby and on Plumb Creek, To Have and To Hold the aforesaid interest and parcel of land unto John Allen his heirs forever and the aforesaid William Breden for himself his heirs will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid tract and parcel from himself his heirs and all claims whatsoever as witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date first above written. It is understood that Fanny breden is not to be interrupted in her possession during her natural life.
