Marriage bonds, Shelby County, Kentucky

This Shall Oblige us Our heirs &c to be held firmly bound unto the
Commonwealth of Kentucky in the Just & full Sum of L50 for the payment of
which we bind ourselves our heirs &c Jointly Severally & firmly Sealed with
our Seals & Dated this 14th day September 1818  The Condition of the above
Obligation is Such That if there Shall be no Lawful Cause to Obstruct the
marriage of Henry Breeding & Polly Davis daughter of Phillip Davis who hath
Given his Consent thereto in Writing Then this Obligation to be void else
to Remain in full force & virtue
