Name: Dr. N. Wilson Britt
Residence: Louisville, KY
Died: Thursday, 17 May 2001, Norton's Hospital, Louisville, KY, age 88.
Born: Lucas community of Barren Co
Son of: Noah and Rebecca Carver Britt, dec'd.
An educator, after graduating from Bowling Green College, he taught in the Barren County School 
System and served as principal of Cave City High School.
Later received his doctorate from Ohio State University where he remained and held the position of 
Professor of Entomology and Limlogy. Veteran of WW II having served in the Army Air Force stationed in 
England; member Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors:
Sister: Tressie Ree Hatcher, Glasgow
Brother: Edwin Britt of Portland, TN
Nephew: J Carroll Hatcher, Louisville, KY
Niece: Mary Lloyd Thomas and husband L C of Venice, FL Preceded also in death by his wife, Mary 
Katherine Farris Britt.
Services: 1 pm Saturday, 19 May 2001, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, burial Glasgow Municipal 
Cemetery.
