He was born April 9, 1952 in Pineville, KY the beloved son of Nettie Brock and Marlin Brock. Bill was a member of the IBEW Local 17, Metro Detroit Area, for over 25 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and was a proud union member and was a dedicated employee of the Energy Group, Detroit, MI. He will be missed dearly by all. Survivors include his loving wife, Nora A. Lynch Brock, whom he married September 1, 1992 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the dear father of Katrina and Colleen Brock of South Lyon, MI and Tina L. (Shannon) Futch of Ormond Beach, FL, beloved son of Nettie Brock of Pineville and Marlin Brock of Corbin, beloved son-in-law of Virginia Lynch and the late Edward R. Lynch, dear grandfather of Lacey and Zachary of Ormond Beach, FL; dear brother of Norma (Dean) Napier of Flagstaff, AZ, Marie (Leonard) Hubbard of Arjay, Diane (Mickey) Saylor of Bledsoe and Angela (Houston) Wolfgang of Pineville, Marlin, Jr., Ronnie, Joey, (Tammy), Alvin and Mickey (Donna) Brock all from Pineville; dear brother-in-law of Nancy (Richard) Schwebke of Almond, NC; Robert Lynch of Dearborn, MI and Michael Lynch of Delray Beach, FL. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services were at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. George Neal. Burial was in the Brock Cemetery at Brock Hollow, Pineville. Pallbearers were family and friends. The family received friends from 11 until the funeral hour on Saturday at he Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
