Before moving to Louisville, Ky years ago, Mr and Mrs BROOKS lived in Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County), where he was a conductor for the L.H. & St.L. Railroad Company, later a part of the L.& N. Railroad. He preceded his wife in death several years ago. Before her marriage Mrs. BROOKS was Miss Lucy KIRK. Surviving Mrs. Brooks are: one daughter: Mrs. Hubert (Helen) DONAHEW (no residence given) grandchildren: Mrs. Barbara DONAHEW STENSEN (no residence given) Franklin Lyle DONAHEW (no residence given) one sister: Mrs. John WOODRUFF of Eldorado, Illinois (Saline County) several nieces and nephews The funeral was held on Monday, October 16, 1961 from the O. D. WHITE & Sons Funeral Home, and burial was in Louisville Memorial Park.
