Department for 27 years, security guard for Wal-Mart and T J Samson Community 
Hospital. Served in the U S Air Force and the KY Army National Guard.

Wife: Patricia Spencer Brooks
Daughter: Connie Holmes and husband Darrell of Park City KY and Laura Brannen 
and husband Lawton of Statesboro GA
Step-son: Jimmy Crumpton of Glasgow
Father and mother-in-law: Bernice and Eva Spencer of Glasgow
Grandchildren: Callie, Morgan and Thomas Holmes and Julian Brannen
Sister: Mary Mitchell Oakes and husband Gary of New Albany IN
Preceded also in death by son: Roy Douglas Brooks Jr
Services: Tuesday, 28 Sept 2004, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial Glasgow 
Municipal Cemetery.
