LANCASTER -- James Robert Brown, 54, of Lancaster died Thursday at
University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

Born Dec. 27, 1948, in Garrard County, he was the daughter of the late James
D. Brown and Alma Young Brown Lamb. He was a retired candy maker and a
member of Lancaster Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Josh Brown of Danville; a daughter, Jamie Brown of
Nicholasville; and a sister, Patricia Brown of Lancaster.

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Lancaster Cemetery by Barry
Jeffries.

Spurlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
