POE BROWN
 
    Mr. Poe Brown, age 65 of Elmwood, TN, died Monday morning, November 3, 
2003 at Carthage General Hospital.
    Mr. Brown was born June 2, 1938 in Hulen, Kentucky the son of the late 
Nettie Murdie and George Brown.  Two brothers B.P. Brown and J.B. Brown 
preceded him in death.  Mr. Brown was a welder in the machine shop industry.
    Mr. Brown is survived by three brothers: Douglas Brown of Gordonsville, 
TN; Dave Brown of Elmwood, TN and George Brown of Warsaw, IN. Six sisters: Ann 
Durossie of Pineville, KY; Ruby Baker of Stonewall, TN; Eula Napier of Hulen, 
KY; Rosie Lang of Walton's Creek, KY; Georgia Graig of Hulen, KY and Sue Craig 
of Corbin, KY.
    Mr. Brown's remains are at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home 
where funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2003 
conducted by Elder James Thomas Gibbs.  Interment will follow in Gordonsville 
Cemetery.
    The Brown family will receive friends at the Gordonsville Chapel on 
Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service 
time at 1:00 PM.
