I, the undersigned Samuel W. Broyles, believing that I am of sound mind and disposing memory and realizing that I am in delicate health, and further being desirous of disposing of my estate according to my own views as to what is right and proper for me to do in the premises, I do make and declare this to be my last will and testament.
First.  I will and bequeath to my Father Henry L. Broyles all of my personal property, cash notes &c and direct him out of this to pay all my liabilities and expenses incurred on my account.  The remainder whatever it may be to be his without any reservation.
Second.  I also bequeath to my father my undivided interest in about forty acres of land that belonged to my grandfather John B. McGinnis dec'd.  This tract of land is the same that is now occupied as dower out of the landed estate of my said grandfather, by my grandmother McGinnis, and is situated on Chaplin Creek below Perryville Kentucky.  And I hereby invest him with full power to sell and convey title to the same and appropriate the proceeds to his own use and benefit.
Third.  I hereby constitute and appoint my father said Henry L. Broyles the Executor of this my last will and testament and no bond to be required by the Court, this 13th day of May 1887.

The undersigned at the request of Samuel W. Broyles and in his presence and in the presence of each other have set their names as witnesses of this his last will and testament May 13th 1887.

I, Reed S. Nichols, Clerk of the Boyle County Court, do certify that the foregoing last will and testament of Samuel W. Broyles dec'd was this day presented to Court and filed, and being duly proven, was ordered to be recorded, which is now done.
	Given under my hand this 20th day of June 1887.
