This 3rd day of December 1822, I Jacob Bruner, of the county of Breckinridge County state of Kentucky being in a low state of health but of disposing mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the surety of death do make and ordain this my last will and testament. First recommending my soul to God the action of its being and my body to the earth from whence it came and as touching my wordly estate which has pleased God to bless me with I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner, to wit, First it is my will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate. Secondly it is my wish that my son John Bruner may sell so much of my property as will pay the above mentioned debts and the same over to my creditors as soon as he possibly can. It is my will and desire that my land houses and stock of every description belong to my sd wife Catherine Bruner, Executrix, to this my last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofore made and confirm this and no other. In witness hereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this aforesaid 3rd day of December in the year of Christ 1822.
