She was born July 30, 1935 in Stoney Fork to Thea and Virgie Hoskins Caldwell. She was a Baptist and had worked at Snyder's Meat Packing. She had been a dispatcher for Right Fork Station of the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department and had been a long time Avon Representative. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, Kristie Nicole Bryant and a nephew, Eddie White. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jessie David Bryant of Stoney Fork, sons, Joseph David and Connie Bryant of Middlesboro, and Theodore Stewart Bryant of Stoney Fork, grandchildren, Samantha Nicole Bryant, Christopher Michael Sturgill, Felix Stewart Bryant, Joshua Steven Bryant, Nicki Hope Parenthia Bryant and Jamie Lynn Miracle; great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Devin and Courtney Bryant, Amber Molly Smith, Michael, Robert and Jordan Sturgill and Courtney Bryant; sister, Carrie Marie Brock of Stoney Fork, brother, Archie Caldwell of Murfreesboro, TN, special neice, Mary L. White and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Thea O. Carter. Music was by Mickey Wilder. Burial was in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers were Chris Sturgill, Felix Bryant, Josh Bryant, Anthony Smith, O'Dell Bailey and Michael Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers were Johnny Brock, Donnie Brock, Coleman Lefevers, Keith Lefevers, Danny Warwick and Ted Wilder. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Bryant Family.
