Danville Advocate Messenger, 10 May 2002 HARRODSBURG -- William Charles Bugg Jr., 68, of Eminence Avenue died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1933, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late William C. and Martha J. Ross Bugg. He was a retired electrician for Northpoint Training Center and a member of Fraternal Order of Police. He also was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Eulah Mae Bugg; four sons, William "Buddy" Bugg, Daniel Bugg and Steven Bugg, all of Mercer County, and David Bugg of Hustonville; a daughter, Vicki Robinson of Mercer County; two sisters, Peggy Bowman of Bardstown and Jean Stringer of Eubank; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn Bugg and Janet L. Bugg Phillips.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jerry Perry. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.
Memorials may go to the Fraternal Order of Police.
