Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Joseph Lee Burke, Sr. age 93 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, 8-18-2008 at his residence. He was born in Indiana on 9-11-1914, the son of the late Michael Edward and Mary Agnes Merritt Burke. He was a very hardworking farmer, who enjoyed family time and always invited visitors to enjoy a meal with him.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife - Venetta and a son - Jim
 
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Glenda Burke of Hardinsburg,KY daughter and son-in-law: Alice and Sam Monarch of Hardinsburg,KY daughter - Virginia Burke Miller of Paducah, KY daughter-in-law - Bonnie Burke of Hardinsburg,KY
2 sisters: Dorothy Watson of Delphi,IN and Patricia Campbell of San Antonio, TX
8 grandchildren: Annette(Marcus) French

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Fr. Brad Whistle officiating. Burial will be in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. 
Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8PM and after 8AM Thursday. Memorial contributions are requested to:Breckinridge County Shop with a Cop P.O. Box
