Marilyn "MeMe" Butler, age 55 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, 3-26-2007 at Baptist Hospital 
East. She was a very active member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church, she loved music and was a 
member of the choir and a Sunday School teacher. She was a registered nurse graduating from 
Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing. She enjoyed china painting and was a member of Lincoln 
Heritage China Painters. "Meme" was a very caring and giving person.
 
She is survived by her husband Bruce T. Butler whom she married August 7,1971 a son: Jason 
Butler of Louisville, KY a daughter & son-in-law: Jenny and Dan Carman of Swansboro, NC her 
mother: Lillian Monarch of Hardinsburg, KY a brother & sister-in-law: Ed and Becky Monarch 
of Hardinsburg, KY a sister & brother-in-law: Betty and Kenny Blair of Harned, KY
 
A celebration of "MeMe's" life will be held on Thursday,3-29-2007 at 11AM CDT at Hardinsburg 
Baptist Church with Rev. Chip Miller and Rev. Doug Miller officiating. Burial will be in the 
Harned Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in 
Hardinsburg, Ky from 3-8PM CDT and after 8:30AM CDT Thursday. Memorial contributions are 
requested to: Hardinsburg Baptist Church Building Fund or Breckinridge County Relay for Life.
