Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper, from files of the late Eva Coe Peden.
"MR. M. D. BUTTON DIES NEAR LECTA.

"Mr. M. D. Button of the Lecta country, known to his host of friends as Mr. "D" 
Buton, died at his home near Leca[a], last Friday, at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife, who 
was Miss Lizie Foster, three sons, Messrs. Morgan, George and James Button, all of this county, and 
daughters, Mrs. Ed Bailey, Mrs. 
Don Matthews, Mrs. Ernest Delk, Mrs. Jesse Bowles and Mrs. Albert Smith."

Unable to locate in published cemetery records.
