Submitted by Sandi Gorin NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. "THE DEATH of the two sons, Drury and Martin, of Mr. B. Button, recently, was one of those afflictions which bereaved parents alone can be conscious of. Martin, who died a few weeks since, was eighteen years of age, and Drury, who died only a few days ago, was twenty-one. They had stepped almost fairly upon the threshold of manhood and had been so long affectionate and manly members of the family circle that the stroke which severed them from their family was unusually severe. They are reported to us by those who knew them as possessing remarkable traits of winning and affection. In every sense they were noble boys, and their death is not only a withering blight in the family circle, but they are mourned by all who knew them as a great loss to the community in which life they were wont to make so useful and respected members. Their death has no doubt weakened the ties which bind their immediate family to earth, and has lifted their thought towards the Pearl gates wherein the sons and brothers have so lately entered."
