Deed Bk B1, p 83, 84 WATSON; CALHOON; HATTON; TAYLOR; HINES; COX; GRAYSON; CRAIG This Indenture made this Eighth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninty six between Jonah WATSON of the County of Fairfax and Commonwealth of Virginia of the one part and George CALHOON of the County of Nelson and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of Locating and Surveying six hundred and fifty acres of Land granted to the said Josiah WATSON by Patent bearing date the 1st day of July one thousand seven hundred and ninty four have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said George CALHOON his Heirs and assigns forever, one hundred and twenty five acres of Land out of the above mentioned six hundred and fifty acre tract Situate lying and being in the County of Shelby and bounded as follows. Towit Begining at the North West corner of said Survey at three Sugartrees and Hickory, East one hundred and sixty two and one half poles to three Sugartrees on the North line of said Survey, thence South one hundred and Seventy two poles to a Sugartree corner to James W. HATTON thence West one hundred and sixty two and one half poles to a Stake in the old line thence North one hundred and Seventy two poles to the Begining To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land to him the said George CALHOON his Heirs and assigns forever and the said Josiah WATSON doth hereby Warrant and Defend the said tract or parcel of Land from himself his Heirs and assigns and all persons claiming under him or them it is understood between the parties that no claim shall or can be had on the said Josiah WATSON his Heirs or assigns in case the said tract or parcel of Land or any part thereof should be lost by prior rights appearing to them hereafter.
