Submitted by Debbie Dicken Mrs. Maggie Minor Campbell, 85, formerly of Wickliffe Avenue in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. George W. Minor and Mrs. Mary Hogan Minor, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 28, 1886. She died at 6:55 p.m., Tuesday, November 30th [1971] at the Taylor County Hospital. She entered the hospital eleven days earlier. She had been a patient at the Boston's Convalescent Center here in Campbellsville for the past two and a half years. She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. "Bob" Campbell, May 13, 1925. He preceded her in death, December 7, 1950. She is survived by a half-sister, Mrs. Annie Newton of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 2nd at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Wendell Hurt. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cleveland, Handley and J.W. Minor, ! Robert Waggoner, Howard Rash and D.A. Newton. Unknown Taylor County newspaper, no dateline. ______________________________
