Arthur B. "Doc" Carman, age 84 of Garfield,KY died Thursday, 1-25-2007 at his residence. He 
was born in Breckinridge County on July 15,1922, the son of the late Marvin O. Carman and Estel 
Dowell Carman. He was a retired farmer and heavy equipment operator. Mr. Carman was a WWII Army 
veteran and member of Custer Masonic Lodge.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby 10-21-2000
2 sisters: Cora Neil Stinnett and Becky Dowell
1 brother: W.T. Carman
a grandson: Billy Severs
 
He is survived by 3 children: Wayne(Rita) Carman of Webster,KY
Bonnie(Bill) Severs of Garfield,KY
Louise Carman of Garfield,KY
8 grandchildren: John Sipes,III
Brittney Sandage
Kenneth,Dewayne,Jessica & Jason Carman
Jennifer Peyser
Pamela Hamilton
15 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Saturday,1-27-2007 at 1PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in 
Hardinsburg,Ky with Rev. Don Bruington officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the 
Hensley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Saturday. 
A Masonic service will be held on Friday at 7PM.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to: WHAS Crusade for Children, Hospice & Palliative Care of 
Central Kentucky, Hensley Cemetery or Breckinridge Home Health.
