Dick Carman, age 89 of Brandenburg, KY died Monday,3-5-2007 at Hardin Memorial Hosptial in 
Elizabethtown, KY. He was born in Breckinridge County, KY on 12-29- 1917, the son of the late 
Marvin and Estel Dowell Carman. He was a retired farmer who enjoyed basketball and whittling. 
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Louis Milam, 4 brothers - W.T.,Doc,Louis D.'Bubby' 
and Raymond Carman, 2 sisters - Cora Stinnett and Becky Dowell.
 
He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law: Debra & Mike Jones of Brandenburg, KY
2 grandchildren: Ginny(Scott) Danner
Ben Jones
2 brothers - Charles Carman of Garfield, KY   Elroy Carman of Ekron, KY
2 sisters - Ida Mae Kinnerson of Locust Hill, KY         Rae Carter of Otisco, 
IN
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 3-9-2007 at 11AM CST at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in 
Hardinsburg, KY with Mike Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Hensley Cemetery. Visitation 
will be held on Thursday from 4:30 - 8:00PM CST and after 8:30AM CST Friday at the funeral home. 
Memorial contributions are requested to Hensley Cemetery.
