LANCASTER -- Lewis Carrier, 80, of Price Court died Thursday at 
Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

Born Nov. 26, 1922, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late 
George and Nannie Shearer Carrier. He was a retired foreman at Vogue 
Rattan in Lexington.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby McCane Carrier; a brother, Otis 
Carrier of Lancaster; and three sisters, Lennie Ray of Statesville, 
N.C., and Sallie B. Ray and Willie Underwood, both of Lancaster.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Bob 
Brooks and Jerry Browning. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Brad Hensley, Harlan McCane, Kendall McCane, 
Bobby Carrier, Jerry Underwood, Ronnie Johnson and Royce Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be E.J. Hasty, Cecil Sanders, Ted Bolton, 
Buddy Hensley and Dr. Steve Green.

Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at Ramsey Funeral Home.
