STANFORD -- Lowell Marvin Carter, 69, of Norwood, Ohio, died Monday in
Cincinnati.
Born May 6, 1933, in Arabia, Ky., he was the son of the late Denver and
Virginia Reed Carter. He was a retied employee of General Motors Co. in
Fairfield, Ohio, and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Freida L. Cox Carter; two daughters, Lodeena M.
Carter of Versailles and Dede McWhorter of Norwood; a brother, Gordon Carter
of Stanford; three sisters, Winifred Carpenter of Danville, Hilda Whalen of
Versailles and Charlotte Self of Lexington; a stepson, Kenneth L. Cox of
Danville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home by Burl Coffman.
Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dale and Danny Reed, Charlie Carpenter, Larry and Gary
Rogers, and Randy, Huey and Jeff Carter.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Scott and Danny Carrier.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.
