Born Aug. 5, 1916, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Addie Troxel Boyd. She was a homemaker and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Betty Peavyhouse of Danville, Barbara Woods of Moreland, Charlotte Showalter of Stevenspoint, Wis., Darlene Sanders of Danville and Marlene Douglas of Stanford; a son, Paul Chambers of Danville; three sisters, Rosie Poynter of Lancaster, Emogene Baker of Columbus, Ind., and Nellie Goode of Junction City; a brother, Ray Boyd of Indianapolis, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clifton Chambers, and two sons, Morris L. and Richard Chambers. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Harold Best. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Blackwell, John Skaggs, Stephen and Bruce Warner, Allan Shepherd and Tony Griffin. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. until time of funeral Friday. ______________________________
