DEATH: Henry Chaudoin, 1950, Green Co. Submitted by Karen Jorgensen H.G. Chaudoin, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chaudoin, was born in Green Co., Ky. 24 Jan 1878 and died at his home in Summersville, Fri. 27 Oct [1950] at 9 am at the age of 72. He professed faith in Christ at an early age in life and lived a true and faithful Christian until death. He was united in marriage to Miss Emma L. Strader, 2 Feb 1900 and to this union 9 children were born. Besides his wife, he is survived by Mrs. Lydia Marr, Mrs. Exie Bloyd and Mr. Howard Chaudoin, all of Summersville; Mrs. Gladys Williams, Mrs. Addie Harlen, Mrs. Woodrow Garner, all of Louisville; Mrs. Dennie Lewis, Dennis Chaudoin and 1 infant preceded him in death some years ago. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Miss Winnie Chaudoin and Mrs. Lois Milby and 1 brother, Joe Chaudoin, all of Summersville. Mr. Chaudoin had served the people in Summersville and Green Co. as a merchant for some 30 years. Funeral services were held Sun. 29 Oct at the Nazarene Church in Summersville at 1 o'clock pm and conducted by Rev. Virgil Anderson of Casey Co., Rev. B.H. Henderson and Rev. J.B. Root. Pallbearers were Walter Chaudoin, Ping Marr, Roy Graham, Durham Tucker, James Beard, and Lou Marr. ______________________________
