Cherry October 27, 1872 Warren County KyArchives Deed Written: October 27, 1872 Recorded: August 26, 1878 Warren County, Kentucky Deed Book 49, pages 88-90 This Indenture made and entered into this 27th day of Oct 1872 between Allen A. Cherry and M. T. Cherry his wife of the first part and Thos. S. McGinnis & Jno. W. McGinnis of the second part both of the County of Warren and State of Ky. Witnesseth: That the party of the first part for and in Consideration of Four hundred dollars to be paid in four equal payments as follows: One hundred dollars on the 1st day of April 1874, One hundred on the 1st day of April 1875, One hundred on the 1st day of April 1876 and one hundred on the 1st day of Apr 1877, ??? which the partys of the second part have this day executed their notes, and a lien is retained on the land to secure their payment has this day sold and delivered to the partys of the 2nd part a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Warren County Ky and bound as follows to wit: Beginning at a planted stone near the North East corner of A. A. Cherrys ridge field and five poles West of a branch with an ash marked as a pointer running thence N 72-1/2 E 87 poles to a planted stone in J. C. Hunters line, thence with Hunters line S 5 E 54-3/4 poles to a black and hickory (now gone) Hunters corner, thence with another of Hunters lines East 99 poles to a black oak corner to an entry made in the name of Jas. Ford, thence with Ford's line S 28 W 43 poles to a black walnut E. P. Howles corner thence with Howles line S 54 W 91 poles to a stake in Hudnalls line thence with Hudnalls N 6-1/2 E 18 poles to a hickory Hudnalls corner, thence with another of Hudnalls lines S 50 W 49 poles to a stake, thence N 13 W 149 poles to the beginning, Containing One hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold with appurtenances and the party of the first parts binds himself his heirs &c to warrant and defend the title of the land hereby conveyed against the claims of all persons whomsoever.
