Name: Charles E. "Charlie" Collins
Residence: Glasgow, KY
Died: Wednesday, 23 July 2003, NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow, age 79.
Born: Allen Co KY
Son of the late Paul and Sadie Emerson Collins
Taught school in Barren County for 13 years and was retired from the Bowling
Green Boys Club of America where he was director for 28 years. In 1985,
awareded the "Heart and Soul" award, which is the highest award that is
given by the Boys Club of Amrica. Member Austin Lodge #847 F&AM, attended
Glasgow Bible Church.
Survivors:
Wife: Joyce Norris Collins
Sisters: Mattie A Collins, Dora Davis and Sara G Stone, all of Louisville KY
Two nieces, one nephew and one great niece.
Preceded also in death by:
Brothers: Harry L Collins and Wilbur Jones
Half-brother: Allen Collins.
Services: 2 pm Friday, 25 July 2003, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial
Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
