"All Dead. (Rip-e-to in Warren County). "The sad news was received here a short time ago of the death of Mrs. Fannie Combs at her home in Perthe, Summer county, Kansas. Mrs. Combs was the daughter of Mr. Eli Rasdall who moved from Smiths Grove to Kansas in 1882. Mrs. Rasdall was Miss Bee Clayton, of the Beaver Cree[k] country, southwest of Glasgow, Ky. When they moved to Kansas they had seven living children, all daughters. All of them have died in the last ten years. Mrs. Combs who died May 6, was the last one. The seven sisters are all buried in a row in the Perthe Cemetery. All but one of them married and some of them left children. Mr. and Mrs. Rasdall have the sympathy of their many friends and kinfolks in Kentucky in their sad bereavement." Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 16 June 1897. ______________________________
