Services for Donald Gene Conner, 51, of Hustonville Road will be 11 a.m.
Thursday at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. Tommy Valentine and Bill Hall.
Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born March 10, 1952, in Danville, he was the son of the late Stanley and
Marian Juanita Price Conner.
He was owner and hairdresser at Shear Pleasure salon, formerly in Danville.
He was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church and with his wife taught
the 3-year-olds Sunday School Class.
He was a 1970 graduate of Danville High School and a graduate of Kauffman
Beauty School.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wagner Conner; a son, C. Ashley Conner
of Lexington; a brother, Larry Conner of Danville; and a sister, Janet
Shearer of Springfield.
Pallbearers will be George VanArsdall, James and Scott Kries, Scott Shearer,
Tom Humphrey, Robbie Montgomery, Hershell McKinley and Dale Ferguson.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Ruth Sunday School Class at Lexington
Avenue Baptist Church.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today.
Memorials may go to Kentucky Organ Donors Association and Lexington Avenue
Baptist Church.
