This is to certify that James E. Coomes and Martha A. Carrico were lawfully
married on the 25 day of Dec. 1871, according to the Rite of the Roman
Catholic Church and in conformity with the laws of the State of Kentucky,
Rev. J. Schacht officiating, in the presence of Joe Mitchell and Belle
Scott, witnesses, as appears from the Marriage Register of this Church,
