COOMES, A PROMINENT FARMER Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County) September 20, 1904 (Special) J. A. COOMES, a prosperous young farmer, residing about 4 miles south of this place, died last Saturday, September 7, 1904, after an illness of about 10 days. The funeral services were held on Sunday, September 8, 1804, at the St. Romuald's Church, where he held his membership. The Reverend Father William L. GABE conducted the funeral services. Mr. COOMES leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his untimely loss. He was about 40 years of age and unmarried.
