MR. JAMES M. COOPER

James M. Cooper, 100, of Sturgis, KY died at 4:10am Wednesday, March 26th
at Union County Methodist Hospital.

James was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. He worked for West
Kentucky Coal Company for 42 years, Superintendent of Coal Loading Tipple
for 20 years 1937-1957.

James was preceded in death by his Lanie in 1989, his daughter, Margaret
Christian in 1992 and a son Max Cooper in 1980.

One surviving son Bill Cooper of Sturgis. Five grandchildren, 4 great
grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2pm Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis with
Brother Tom Kirby officiating. Burial was at Boxville Cemetery, in Union
County.
