Woodruff Corbin
Aug. 9, 1916-July 21, 1996

SALEM -- Woodruff Corbin, 79, Salem, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Washington
County Memorial Hospital, Salem.

Born in Columbia, Ky., he was the son of James and Amanda (Powell) Corbin.
He married Rachel Louise Powell Dec. 23, 1937 and she survives.

He was a retired employee of L.O.W. Economic Development.

Surviving with his wife are two sons: James and Terry Corbin, both of
Salem; six daughters: Lois Johnson of Campbellsburg, Helen Reddy of
Indianapolis, Lavon Chastain, Maxine Williams, Brenda Leibert and Trish
Dickey, all of Salem; one sister, Lucy Judd of Columbia, Ky.; 19
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and two brothers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Weathers Funeral Home, Salem.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until
the service Wednesday.
