Coulter April 30 1853 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: April 30 1853 Recorded: April 30 1853 Book 5, page 150 Coulter Chas. K. & wife to McGinnis F. L. Deed of Conveyance of Interest This Indenture of bargain and Sale made this the 30th day of April A.D. 1853 between Charles K. Coulter and his wife Patsey W. Coulter, late McGinnis, of the county of Boyle and State of Kentucky of the first, and F. L. McGinnis, of the county of Boyle and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and forty dollars, sixty dollars cash paid, and two hundred and ninety dollars to be paid Twelve Months from this date, evidenced by note, to secure the payment of which a lien is reserved, the receipt of which money & note is hereby acknowleged, the said Charles Coulter and wife hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the said F. L. McGinnis and his heirs and assigns foever, all of their Interest in and to a parcel of Land (said Interest contains 11 & 1/4 acres) situate and being in the County of Boyle and state aforesaid, and being the same portion which was allotted to Patsey W. Coulter, late McGinnis, by commissioners, appointed by the Boyle County Court, to allot Dower and divide the Lands of William McGinnis Dec'd. (and it is the portion alloted to said Patsey in said Division intended to be conveyed by this Deed but not their Interest in the Dower Land) Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to said interest or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold, the said Land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the said F. L. McGinnis and his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part, for themselves, their heirs, Executors &c doth by these presents, covenant and agree to forever warrant and defend the title to the aforesaid Interest and appurtenances against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Akin, Clerk of the Boyle County Court do certify that this Deed of Conveyance from Charles K. Coulter and Patsey W. Coulter his [wife] to F. L. McGinnis, was this day produced to me in my office, and acknowledged by the said Charles K. Coulter to be his act and deed, and the said Patsey W. Coulter, being examined apart from her husband and the contents thereof explained to her, she voluntarily acknowledged the same, and consented that it might be recorded. Whereupon said Deed together with this certificate, hath been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 30th day of April 1853. Jno. B.
