The Whitley Republican, Williamsburg, KY Thursday, August 25, 1977
   Mrs. Mary Cox, 85, of Emlyn, died Aug. 20 at her home.
   She is survived by six sons: Lester Cox, Corbin; Jeff Cox, Cudahay, Calif.; Charles Cox, Baltimore, Md.; Everett Cox, Bothan, Ala.; William Cox, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and Fred Cox, Covington; two daughters; Beulah Hunter, Daytona Beach, Fla.; and Geneva Wyatt, Phoenix, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and three sisters: Ida Myers, Clinton, Tenn.; Georgia Archer and Mossie Debord, both of Jellico, Tenn.
   Funeral services were held Aug. 24 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Long and the Rev. Robert Davis officiating.
  Burial was in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
